What is B1 English?
An independent user who copes with most familiar situations and can explain an opinion simply.
At B1, a learner can usually…
- Understand the main points when people talk clearly about school, hobbies or work.
- Handle most everyday situations when travelling abroad.
- Write a simple, connected story, email or short report.
- Describe experiences and plans, and give short reasons for an opinion.
